Platform for Exchange among Swiss Health Social Scientists

Medical Anthropology Switzerland (MAS)

With research conducted in Switzerland and beyond, health social scientists from diverse disciplines contribute to medical knowledge, systems and developments in diverse areas related to health, illness and care. Health social scientists’ platforms for exchange in Switzerland that go beyond disciplines are rare and mostly connect researchers from specific regions or language groups.

This meeting will provide an overview of health-related research conducted by scholars in the fields of anthropology, sociology, public health, nursing, medicine, social work, economy and by other health social scientists in Switzerland. The meetings aims to foster exchanges between researchers, and research groups in order to facilitate closer, synergetic and interdisciplinary collaborations of health social scientists based at Swiss Universities, Universities of Applied Sciences and other research institutions.

As an informal exchange with guided sequences, the colloquium will take place one day before the SEG-SSE-SAA Annual Meeting 2019 in Geneva (November 8th November 9th, 2019). The colloquium is open to junior and senior scholars.

Please register until November 5th, 2019:
